Do you ____________(Groom) ____________ and ______________(Bride)_____________ before God the Father, and your friends and families wish to put the Lord Jesus first in your marriage and hold Him preeminent in all things? If so answer, "We do".
![]() In Colossians 1:10, God tells us to lead a life worthy and pleasing to Him, Bearing fruit in every good work and to increase in the knowledge of God. Do you both desire to do these things together in your marriage? If so, answer, "We do".
![]() Now concerning marriage, God Himself ordained it. In Genesis chapter two, the Lord says, "it is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helpmate fit for him.....So the Lord caused a deep sleep to fal upon the man and while he was asleep, God took one of his ribs and closed up it's place with flesh. The rib which God had, taken from man, He made into a woman, and brought her to the man. Then man said, "This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.
![]() Therefore, the man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two are to treat each other ___________(Groom) __________ God's work commands in Ephesians 5: Husbands love your wives, as Christ loves the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her. Having cleansed her by the washing of the Word that he might present her to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. Even so, husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife, love himself. For no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes it as Christ does the church, because we are members of His body, may you love your wife as yourself.
![]() ______________(Groom)____________, the Lord again says in Ephesians Chapter 5: "Wives be subject to your husband as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. Treating her with love and respect. Also, in Proverbs 12, we read that "A good wife is the crown of her husband" and in chapter 31, "A good wife speaks with wisdom and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She takes care of her household and does not follow after idle ways.
![]() _____________(Groom___________ and _______________(Bride)_______________, Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you. That you love one another just as I love you." Now, love is patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way, it is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices when ever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to them no matter what the cost. You will always believe in each other, expect the best in each other, and always stand your ground to defend each other. Love is the very nature of God, and this love can only come from God. It is this kind of love that brought Christ to take upon the form of a man and die for us.
![]() It is this kind of ove that has brought _____________(Groom)_____________and ___________ (Bride) _______________ together in marriage. It is this love emanating from then that will keep them together both now and for the rest of their lives. For this marriage was conceived in the heart of God, and whatever is of God will overcome the world.

If so, say, "I Do".
![]() Pastor: "May I have the rings, please?"
![]() It is fitting and proper on this occasion that here be an exchanging of rings. These rings, made of pure and precious metal, being round and without beginning or end, symbolize the constant enduring love you have pledge to each other. These rings are an outward, visible sign, of an inward, spiritual unity.
![]() (Pastor gives the bride's ring to the groom, and places it halfway on her finger and repeat after the Pastor:)
![]() "With this ring, I thee wed, and with all my blessing, I give unto thee, in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ."

Acting in the authority vested in me by the laws of this state and looking to our heavenly Father for divine sanction. I now pronounce you husband and wife, in the Name of our Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
